The Office of Community and Educational Partnerships (OCEP) was created to build, support and coordinate productive partnerships between the Community Development Commission (CDC) and community organizations, educational institutions, and other agencies in Los Angeles County. A MESSAGE FROM THE ACTING EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR:
WILLIAM K. HUANG (Biography)
At the CDC, we have always understood the value of education and its positive effects. Educational Partnerships bridges the gap between communities and educational institutions providing hands-on experience that is vital to a well-rounded educational experience. Students are hungry to get real world experience and schools are constantly looking for good placement sites. The CDC has the resources and responsibility to support applied learning opportunities for college students.
We all have the ability and obligation to become teachers and mentors. Through OCEP, we strive to become a model public agency - training the next generation of quality public sector professionals while supporting the CDC's mission.
