SEAN ROGAN, Executive Director
Community Development Commission
The Board of Supervisors has appointed Sean Rogan as Executive Director of the Community Development Commission and Housing Authority, effective Friday, May 22, 2009.
Mr. Rogan was formerly Deputy Director, Housing and Community Development for the City of Oakland, CA. He brings a broad range of community development and housing experience to the Executive Director position, including turning a housing authority into a high performer.
Mr. Rogan's experience also includes the implementation and monitoring of various affordable housing, redevelopment and community development programs. While administering these programs, he has utilized a variety of resources, including HOME, CDBG, ESG, HOPWA, redevelopment funds, tax credits, Hope VI and tax exempt bonds. His projects and programs include a Department of Housing and Urban Development "best practices" winner and a recipient of the Community Redevelopment Association's Award of Excellence.
Mr. Rogan holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from the University of California, San Diego and a Master of Public Administration from San Diego State University.
