Overview

In 1982, the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors consolidated three County entities - the Housing Authority, the Community Development Department, and the Redevelopment Agency - to form the Community Development Commission (CDC).

The Board of Supervisors currently serves as the commissioners of the CDC -- which includes serving as the commissioners of the Housing Authority of the County of Los Angeles (Housing Authority) -- setting policy for the agency. (

Executive Director - Sean Rogan
Welcome to the Community Development Commission of the County of Los Angeles (CDC).  

Our goal is to build better lives and better neighborhoods for residents and business owners in the unincorporated areas of Los Angeles County and in the various incorporated cities that participate in the many programs that the CDC offers.  Our four main program areas include Housing, Community Development, Affordable Housing Development and Preservation, and Economic Development. (more...)
